Picture this alternate story…
Bob: Hi, I’m Bob and I want to learn about how to get fit.
Alex: Oh hey, I’m Alex. That’s so cool you want to get fit.
Bob: Yeah, I’m interested in learning about it and probably ready to commit to whatever the process is.

QUESTION: Have you ever seen the sludge of personal opinion confuse and put off a sincere question about Jesus, his message and why any of it matters?
Have you ever done that… promoted or recruited for your particular leader/author/group/church/club as the coolest thing ever instead of just putting Jesus in the center of the conversation?
