Purpose: This project is intended to find the following things in the New Testament -
* What was "the gospel" that Jesus and the disciples believed and shared with others? (content)
* Who is Jesus and what was his God-given mission? (Jesus)
* What did the disciples in the NT believe to be their God-given mission? (mission)
* Why was there such passion and urgency in the early disciples to get "the gospel" to people, to the point of enduring persecution and even death? (motivation)
In short … what was the CORE content of their faith, and what was their MOTIVATION for sharing it?
